A very old friend of mine is getting married in a couple of weeks.
As is my wont, I decided the best gift I could give her and her new husband is not something off the wedding list, but a painting crafted by my own fair hands. {For ‘fair’, read ‘painty’.}
Enjoy the process…
The quote reads ‘On with the dance, let joy be unconfined’, some delicious words from Lord Byron.
What a beautiful wedding gift. From your heart — to theirs. They will be over joyed!
Thank you Sherry, what a lovely thing to say! x
wow!! that beats a butter dish any day!!
and to quote Lord Byron? *swoon*
xoxo
Lol!! Why thank you so much! I liked the quote because it wasn’t too specific but still conveys the love and joy thing.
It’s stunning Tara! What a loving, heart-felt (filled?) gift. Thanks for sharing its progression too. xx
So glad you enjoyed it Lorinda. I do like a process post. Not to mention such unbridled enthusiasm for my work. 😉 x
They’re a very lucky couple, it’s beautiful

What a lovely gift. That beats anything you could have purchased at the store. I am sure they will treasure it forever.

Thanks Karen, and thank you for stopping by. It’s great to ‘meet’ you! 🙂
Hi, from a new admirer of your blog. I enjoyed seeing the process too and how it changed from your first picture to the last. It will beat any shop bought gift thats for sure.
