I have counted the pages in my DailyScapes sketchbook and there are 93. {Which is weird.}
As I type I’m on Day 67 so there’s about a month to go. I’m still faithfully trundling upstairs to the studio every day to make a tiny piece of art , and by this stage it’s definitely become a part of my day.
Sometimes I almost forget, but impending dusk tends to have a Pavlovian effect and I run up to do my scape before the sun goes down!
You can see more DailyScapes here, here and here.
This is by no means all the scapes I’ve made since the last post; it’s just a selection of my favourites.
As you can see, one of the many great things about this project is it doesn’t restrict me to a certain style or medium. If I see something during the day – perhaps on Pinterest or out in the world – that I want to try out, I can do that. Or I can do something I know I always love doing. Or I can try something out to see if it’ll work. It’s the perfect lab for art experimentation.
i LOVE these, and love the idea.
You’ve inspired me to want to do the same. 😉
So much fun to experiment, isn’t it? Thank you dear girl… xx
I really love the ink and feather works, especially the one with blue & yellow! Are you drawing with the feather?
Very cool!
Hi Ellen, yes I draw with the feather, which I cut at an angle like an old fashioned quill. 🙂
Saw one of these ON pinterest and had to come over to see, they’re so lovely! Well done!
Thank you Hanna!
