A friend of mine alerted me to this website (called craftgawker.com, which, you should be warned, will suck you in for quite some time), and through that I found THIS gorgeous website, where there is a tutorial to make THESE:
My ‘I can do that’ monster wanted to try it so I stocked up on tissue paper and spent some very happy times in front of the tv making tissue flowers. (So easy!)
I now have heaps and no idea what to do with them, and I haven’t even STARTED on the pompoms yet…
Just noticed my followers have suddenly gone up quite a lot! Hello lovely new followers! Thank you for choosing to spend some of your precious time here. 🙂 x
Oh, i love thse pompoms – must try making some too! Have fun using them!
Hello sweetie and happy belated Birthday, it was my daughters birthday on the 22nd 🙂
I love those flowers, I might have to go check that site out and have a go myself, see if I can make some for my daughters party on Saturday 🙂
Hugs
Micki x
I love your pretty flowers! I found myself with a lot of origami animals after an obsession for a few weeks and I gave them away to children who came to the open studio events I participated in and it brought their parents into my studio! I will be spending some lovely time on that website..thanks for the link!
Those flowers are SO lovely! Thanks for sharing the link. 🙂 They would probably make lovely packaging for your artwork. 🙂 How sweet would it be to open up a package and see one of those pretty blossoms! Theresa
