From this:(which, although not something I’m particularly proud to show, was significant at the time as it marked my re-entry back into art after a drought of many years (how funny, I typed ‘tears’ instead of ‘years’ just then, most Freudian).

Needs more work but we’ve reached the inevitable impasse for now.

    Strange comment alert: You got the pants! They're gorgeous!

    Slightly less strange: I love the latest lady – totally inkeeping with what I think about your individual style and 'voice' developing really fast…

    This might be a silly question, but is the 'painting over' of another artwork a psychologically important part of the process? Or is it more practical (ie re-using canvasses)?
