Aaagh! Look at this! I bought it ages ago in a second hand book shop in Arundel, because I liked the lino/woodcut cover and then when I opened it the sweet randomness of each page was just too good.
It’s by Brian Andreas, an artist, sculptor and storyteller.
He has a website called Storypeople.
I never get bored with this book. It inspires me when I need a bit of weirdness and surrealism.
I don’t really know what any of it means but that’s what I love best about it. It’s like little snapshots of dreams.
It’s making me think of new ways to use text in my art, something that’s developing from an interest into a fixation.
Might see if I can come up with some weirdness myself.
So cool! I love the 'more than a princess' line!!

What an amazing book. Thanks for sharing. x
That's quite a find. If it were a blog I'd visit it every day.
So would I!
Oh! Oh! This is sort of like my thing! You know, my 'thing'?
Well obviously this is much better because that man is clearly a genius (that hide-and-seek quote is so sad – it really had me sniffling away).
But it's the sort of random little tales I've been devising.
I'll shut up now :). And I'll let you know when mine FINALLY see the light…
I love that…lucky you. Do you live near Arundel? I am down the road..

Hi Tara
What a fantastic book – I would frame the pages and have then all over the house. I'm going to google it to see if I can find a copy. Good luck on the graham cracker search – what a revelation about s'mores!
What a lucky find!! I discovered Brian's website some time back and was so enchanted.
