Once upon a time, a long time ago, there was a princess called Tara (indulge me) and she won a competition and the prize was one of Katherine Quinn‘s beautiful (BEAUTIFUL) pieces of work.
There was much wailing and gnashing of teeth across the land as the unlucky losers bemoaned their misfortune, but Princess Tara was so so very happy and excited. Every day she checked the post to see if her painting had arrived yet. And every day the postman shook his head sadly. Princess Tara was very upset, not least for Katherine because of the loss of all her hard work.
But Katherine turned out to be a Fairy Godmother, because she made another painting for the princess, and lo! This one made it through the postal system and arrived safely this very morning.
And the princess was overjoyed because the painting was even more beautiful in the flesh than on her laptop screen, and she couldn’t wait to tell everyone about it even though she’d already posted once already this morning.
And she lived happy ever after.
