This is a mixed media piece I’ve done for my sister for Christmas. She sadly had to have Maisy, her beloved Staffie, put down recently aged only two. Anna was devoted to Maisy, so I thought it would be nice to have a little painting to commemorate her.
I used photos copied onto tissue paper, acrylics, handmade paper, a cork, stamps and blue star jewels.

I should have said actually, the tissue paper trick is from Linda at http://lindavincent.blogspot.com/ – you stick a piece of tissue paper with little dots of glue at each corner to a normal piece of printer paper, then run it through the photocopier as normal. It works a treat and is really nice to work with in collages.
