Turns out I’m not that confident with taking something as my colour inspiration.
Or maybe I just didn’t pick a very good colour scheme to work from. I also didn’t have necessarily the right colour paints. 
Anyway, never mind. I got some good texture in.
And a bunch of new paints arrived today! Woop! No more excuses.

youre funny! I think its about the proportion of the colour in the picture you were using, you just picked out your fav colour and used that! nice texture!
