I always love to take commissions. Working together to produce something you will love and that will have personal meaning to you is very exciting!

I also offer commissions for children’s paintings as they have proved popular. It started, as these things often do, when I made one for a friend’s little boy for his christening. She loved it and asked for two more for her niece and nephew. Then someone else wanted one….

Each painting contains the name of the child, the meaning of their name, the initial and any other significant images or words. I would love to do one for the little ones in your life! We can talk about colours, images and words used, so you end up with something unique and special that you’ve had a hand in creating, making it really personal.

Tara painted me two name paintings for my twin niece and nephew for their birthday. They have beautiful Irish names and the paintings emphasised their meaning in a very special way. I wanted to give them something unique that would be treasured; I loved them so much I will be asking for more paintings for my godchildren.
