If you felt moved to follow my blog I would really love that! I have a little feeling ‘a few’ (aka ‘most’) of my followers got lost in the transition from old blog to new blog. I know followers are not the be all and end all, and are also not why I started it in the first place. I guess I just got kinda used to knowing I wasn’t talking into the air, you know?
Here is a leafy heart to show my appreciation of you if you are reading this, even if you don’t follow.

In other news, I’ve been in the studio and suddenly started a new canvas! My muse, she’s a whimsical beast. Anyway, more on that another day (it’s about time I did a process post), but in the meantime, I also did this which is sort of related, as you will see:

You are almost always in my mind when I’m painting and feeling unsure – I remind myself of your wonderful layers and that nothing I do cannot be painted over… and maybe one day made as beautiful as your work in the process
